Pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5, is named pantothenic acid because it is widely present in nature. Pantothenic acid is a compound composed of pantothenic acid and β-alanine. The main physiological function of pantothenic acid is to form coenzyme A and acyl carrier proteins, and play a role in metabolism through them. Making antibodies is also one of the functions of pantothenic acid, which can help resist infectious diseases and alleviate the side effects and toxicity of many antibiotics. Animals lack pantothenic acid and have poor growth, dermatitis, kidney damage, anemia, etc. This experiment refers to GB/T18397-2001 "Determination of pantothenic acid in compound premix feed", and the determination of 4% compound premix during laying period was carried out.
