Determination of Seven Anions in Plastic Bags by Water Extraction Ion Chromatography
Release Date :2025-03-24

Plastic bags are made of plastic (common plastics include polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc.) as the main raw material. Plastic bags are widely used because of their low cost, light weight, large capacity, and easy storage. However, plastics belong to polymer compounds, which are mixed with nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), hydrogen (H), sulfur (S), chlorine (Cl), etc. At the same time, in order to improve the performance of plastics during the production process, various auxiliary materials such as fillers, plasticizers, lubricants, stabilizers, and colorants are added to the polymer. Combined with practical applications, it is found that anions such as F-, Cl-, NO2-, Br-, NO3-, PO43- and SO42- are often detected in plastic bags, so anions in plastic bags are often used as an important indicator to judge the quality of plastic bags.
