Introduction

Zheng Xusheng's research team at Carbon Energy University of Science and Technology of China published the latest research results entitled "Manipulating photogenerated electron flow in nickel single-atom catalysts for photocatalytic CO2 reduction into tunable syngas" in the famous journal "Carbon Energy".

This paper describes a strategy for significantly enriching photogenerated electrons at the active check point of nickel (Ni) through phosphorus (P) doping, thereby improving the performance of CO2 photoreduction to synthesis gas. In the photocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction, the phosphorus-doped carbon nitride material anchored to Ni single atoms exhibited excellent synthesis gas yield (85 μmol · gcat-1 · h-1). Mechanism studies show that P doping improves the conductivity of the catalyst and promotes the transfer of photogenerated electrons to the active check point of Ni, rather than random dissipation at the low-active non-metallic check point, thereby enhancing the yield of CO products. In addition, by controlling the ratio of P doping, a continuously adjustable CO/H2 ratio (from 5:1 to 1:2) can be achieved.

Professor Zheng Xusheng and others use photocatalysis to convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into value-added chemical products for the development of clean energy. The development of this technology not only helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also opens up new avenues for the development of a sustainable chemical industry.

As an efficient analytical technology, gas chromatography has played an important role in the scientific research and application of photocatalysis to convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into value-added chemical products. Mr. Zheng Xusheng's research team mainly uses East-West Analysis Gas Chromatography to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the synthesis gas (CO and H2) in the products of CO2 reduction, to help understand the reaction mechanism, improve the performance of the catalyst, and optimize the reaction conditions.

Precise qualitative quantification to reveal the reaction mechanism. In the process of photocatalytic carbon dioxide (CO 2) reduction reaction, a series of reduction products are usually generated, including gases such as carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen (H2). To ensure that the concentration of these reaction products can be accurately determined, so as to obtain detailed information about the reaction process, East-West Analysis Gas Chromatography can accurately separate the various gas components produced in the reaction, and can accurately determine the concentration. In this way, researchers can understand the dynamic changes and reaction mechanism of the reaction in detail, and then optimize the reaction conditions, improve the reaction efficiency, and ensure that the photocatalytic CO 2 reduction reaction can be carried out efficiently and stably.

Excellent stability performance, adapt to high-intensity work, in the school laboratory, the gas chromatograph often needs to run synchronously with the reaction device for a long time. For this kind of long-term, multi-person use conditions, the stability and reliability of the instrument are required to be high. The gas chromatograph of East-West analysis has withstood this test and perfectly completed the analysis task of continuous long-term operation, providing accurate and reliable experimental data for the CO2 catalytic reduction research group, which has been unanimously recognized by teachers and students.

Strong after-sales support, relieving worries In the process of using the instrument, over time, any instrument will inevitably encounter a variety of problems and failures during long-term use. These problems will have an impact on the experiment. In this case, it is particularly important to choose an instrument brand with strong after-sales support. East-West Analysis has a strong after-sales support team, and the engineers have shown extremely high professional ability and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults. Their quick response and ability to solve problems effectively allow scientific researchers to focus on research work without worries.
