Determination of Metal Elements in Battery Materials by Microwave Digestion-Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometry
Release Date :2025-03-24

The measurement of trace metals is generally completed on an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) or an inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (ICP-AES). However, the AAS test is susceptible to serious interference from other elements, and only one element can be tested at a time, and the testing efficiency is low; while ICP-AES not only tests multiple elements at the same time, but also has high sensitivity and stability. At the same time, ICP-AES can be used not only for the detection of trace impurity elements, but also for the content of main elements such as manganese, lithium, iron, etc. According to GB/T 30835-2014 "Carbon Composite Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathode Materials for Lithium Ion Batteries", this paper establishes a method for the determination of metal elements in battery materials by microwave digestion method of ICP-7760HP full-spectrum direct reading inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer, which can be used for reference by relevant personnel.
