Rare earth elements are a group of important chemical elements. Their presence in soil has an important impact on soil quality and plant growth and development. Therefore, accurate determination of rare earth element content in soil is of great significance for environmental science and geology research. ICP-TOFMS technology has higher resolution and shorter measurement time than traditional ICP-MS technology. This means that ICP-TOFMS can simultaneously determine a variety of rare earth elements, which improves the analysis efficiency and accuracy. In this paper, inductively coupled plasma time-of-flight mass spectrometry (ICP-TOFMS) was used to determine the content of 18 rare earth elements in soil samples. The method has high sensitivity, wide linear range, and can quickly analyze multiple elements for reference of relevant personnel. Attachment download
